Mardi Gras is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate another incredible season with our Collective! The energy, the parades, the magic of Carnival - it's all coming together, and we want to make sure you're ready to experience it all from the best seat in the house. The Nieux - 2040 Saint Charles Ave.
We've put together this quick guide to help you navigate wristbands, access, and the complete Uptown parade schedule. Our goal is simple: to make the beautiful chaos of Carnival feel just a little bit easier for you and your guests. Whether you're a seasoned parade-goer or experiencing your first Mardi Gras as a Nieux Society member, we've got you covered with everything you need to know.
Wristbands = Entry
Your Nieux Society wristband is your golden ticket for entry to The Nieux on parade days. No wristband, no entry—it's that simple! These special bands ensure we can welcome our community while keeping everything safe and organized during the excitement. They may be picked up at the gate upon entry.
Pick Up Ahead of Time
To keep parade-day check-in smooth and stress-free, member wristbands may be picked up in advance during normal workspace hours in the weeks leading up to Mardi Gras. Beat the rush and grab yours early… your future self will thank you when you breeze right in! Early wristband pickup ends 2/5/26 at 3pm.
When We Are Open
On parade days, The Nieux opens 1 hour before parades start and downstairs bar and bathrooms remain open until after the last float passes . This gives you plenty of time to settle in, grab your spot, and soak in the pre-parade excitement with friends. Upstairs at The Nieux will close at 10pm Daily.
Guest Access
Each member may invite up to 10 accompanied guests. Your guests must arrive with you initially, but they're free to come and go after that first check-in. Share the magic with the people you love most!

For $75 per head, Nieux Society Members and their guests get unlimited access for 8 full days to a private, all-you-can-eat buffet at The Nieux.

This year, we're offering something extra special for our members! We're opening select nights during Mardi Gras for members to rent the space as their own personal home base for Carnival celebrations. Whether you're gathering your closest friends, hosting family from out of town, or bringing together your own krewe, The Nieux can be transformed into your private parade-watching paradise.
Tables on the Avenue
Secure premium viewing spots right on the parade route with dedicated table service. Watch the floats roll by while enjoying curated food and drinks in style.
Private Upstairs Rentals
